During our testing of our and existing parental control tools, we realized that children are easily able to bypass time related functions, such as screen time functions by changing the system time of their devices.
To prevent children from being able to simply change their system time to continue using their devices, we have developed our software to function independently of the system time. This however means that if the child travels outside of its usual timezone, parents will have to change the timezone settings inside the child profile.
